We are excited to reach out to the passionate hawkwatching community from around the world to invite you to be a part of an incredible experience at the Kèköldi Hawkwatch project in Talamanca, Costa Rica!
Kèköldi Hawkwatch has been dedicated to the conservation and research of raptor populations for several years. Our site is located in the lush and biodiverse Talamanca region of Costa Rica, a migratory hotspot for raptors from North and South America. The data collected here has been invaluable in understanding raptor movements and contributing to the global efforts in biodiversity conservation.
We believe that diversity in experience and expertise enriches our project, and that’s why we are reaching out to our fellow hawk counters from around the world. We are looking for volunteers to join us for the upcoming seasons in 2024.
What you can expect when volunteering at Kèköldi Hawkwatch:
We welcome volunteers of all levels of experience. Whether you are an experienced counter or someone new to the world of raptor migration, your contributions are invaluable. Our team will provide training and guidance to ensure you have a rewarding and educational experience.
If you are interested in joining us for this season, please let us know ASAP. We would love to hear about your background and what you hope to bring to our project. Feel free to ask any questions or seek further information by visiting our website at www.kekoldi.org
