Join the Harris Center and Wings of the Dawn for the long-awaited release of several birds of prey that have been in raptor rehabilitator Maria Colby’s care due to injury or illness. Harris Center naturalists will also be on hand to discuss the raptor migration. Come be part of the excitement as these raptors get a second chance at freedom!
The Hawk Watch will be operating all day, but the raptor release will commence promptly at 1 p.m. Plan to arrive early, as there may be crowds.
Although registration is not required for this event, reservations are required for visiting Miller State Park, along with a modest entrance fee. Spaces are going fast, so book your driving or hiking pass today on the Miller State Park website.
