Raptor Identification with Nature’s Educators
This in-person event features live falcons, hawks, and eagles from Nature’s Educators, an acclaimed Colorado wildlife outreach organization. The event will take place in the Lois Webster Amphitheater at Denver Audubon’s Kingery Nature Center, 11280 Waterton Road, Littleton. Participants will learn how to identify eight raptor species found along Colorado’s Front Range. The program will also cover habitat and conservation measures. Bring your cameras and questions for an encounter that will provide a truer perspective on the size of these birds of prey. The event will take place rain or shine.
Cost is $10 for DFO members and $12 for nonmembers. This program is for adults only (age 18 and up). You must register in advance. No refunds. All proceeds benefit the Denver Field Ornithologists Hawk Watch program at Dinosaur Ridge.
